Multipurpose support tip for use with SU11 support jacks. These tips are available with v-grooves, domes or points to improve workpiece support and have a 10mm location spigot. They are manufactured from SCM440(JIS) / 42CrMo4(DIN) heat treated to HRC 60.
Chuck bungs are primarily used to block the centre of the chuck to stop swarf and coolant going down the spindle. The threaded hole which can be used for the removal of the bung can also be used for mounting a back stop.
