The XPS-16 can sharpen drills to pre-programmed geometry as well as custom geometry That can be easily created on the simple-to-use control panel. Drill point types including Standard, Conic and 4 Facet as well as Standard and Radius Split Point are easy to achieve. The XPS-16 will accept drills from 3mm to 16mm with point angles from 90 to 150 degrees And includes an automatic honing cycle for carbide drills to increase drill life. Also included is a vacuum system for grit removal. This high capacity machine can sharpen thousands of drills a week and will automatically detect the drill's length, diameter, and web thickness - Then sharpen the drill - all in one continuous process without operator involvement.
